We are fast approaching the paper deadline for the 10th International Cross-Disciplinary Conference on Web Accessibility (W4A). Time to get those papers, communications, demo’s, and student papers polished – because this year we’ll be partying in Rio!
We aren’t far off from the W4A 2013 – 13-15th May 2013 – in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and this means it’s time to pull some all-nighters and get those papers in before Feb 15th! This year the focus is on ‘Bring Your Own Device!’ a concept discussed at last years WWW-W4A Joint Panel. While this is the main focus the organisers do say that “While ‘Bring Your Own Device’ is this years theme, please don’t be deterred if this somewhat unique area is not yours. We would like to see all quality work on Web Accessibility regardless of the particular field within accessibility. The overriding reason for a paper being accepted is its high quality in relation to the broad area of Web Accessibility.” I like the level of inclusion.
So if adaptation, personalisation, mobile, ubiquity, Indie UI, and the like are your bag get writing!
